Welcome to Day 3 of Dashboard Week! In this challenge, I had dived into the world of Star Trek data, aiming to create an engaging dashboard. I formatted the data in Alteryx, joined the tables together, designed backgrounds in Figma, creates the tables I needed in Tableau. I then threw it all together in a dashboard. Here was my process.

Step 1: Preparing the Data in Alteryx
In Alteryx, I organized the data by formatting dates and changing headings for clarity. I also added a reference column to link the tables together smoothly.

Step 2: Joining the Tables
I combined various tables containing Star Trek information. This created a single dataset that served as the foundation for my dashboard.

Step 3: Designing the Backgrounds
Using Figma, I tried crafted visually appealing backgrounds resembling. The designs added a touch of space allure to the dashboard.

Step 4: Representing the Data with Tables
I built tables in Tableau to showcase characters, episodes, and other related data in a clear and organized manner.

Step 5: Creating the Dashboard
The final task was to merge the tables with complementary visualizations like in this case I included the total number of records on each page. Therefore, people can see, for example, how many episodes there are to watch. The dashboard became interactive, enabling users to explore the Star Trek universe easily.

Conclusion:
Day 3 of Dashboard Week saw us tackle the Star Trek data challenge with Alteryx and Tableau. We successfully prepared the data, designed captivating backgrounds, and united the elements into an insightful dashboard. As we look forward to Day 4, we remain eager to explore new datasets and uncover more fascinating insights. Stay tuned for more data-driven adventures!
