  • Bar in Bar chart

Outcome

You will be able to create different multiple visualisations on a single view.

Lesson

Here you will discover the two different ways of creating Reference Lines, Bands and Distributions and understand the available options for Lines, Bands, Distributions and Box Plots.

You will also gain an understanding of the difference between Table, Pane and Cell. We also look at Line aggregations and labels, along with formatting and Instant Analytics.

Lab

The Follow Me session is used to create a

  • Bullet chart using average distribution line and percentages distribution

  • Box plot using the Analytics tab

The exercises include creating a

  • Reference line
  • Two reference bands
  • Reference distribution.

Outcome

You will understand all the options and be able to create reference lines, bands and distributions by either using the manual or using the Analytics tab.

Lesson

This will enable you to understand the options available when creating a parameter and the four things you will need to do to be able to use them.

Lab

In the Follow Me you will create a parameter to

  • Be used as a filter
  • Change the measure being shown

The exercises include creating a

  • Parameter
  • Showing the parameter control
  • Creating a calculation using the parameter
  • Using the calculation on a view
  • Reusing the parameter on a different data source in the same workbook

Outcome
