During a record breaking walk from South Australia to Darwin our founder and CEO, Steve Hitchman, had a simple notion.  He wanted to find the best technologies while employing the industry’s most talented and sought-after human capital.

Steve then wanted these people to work on delivering business outcomes where others failed. That vision became MIP Australia, established in 1992 and headquartered in Sydney, Australia.

After hundreds of hours of research, Forest and Trees was selected as the first go to market technology, followed by Informatica, Brio, MicroStrategy, Exeros, WhereScape, Tableau Software and Alteryx.

MIP quickly earned a reputation as one of the first companies in Australia to provide true data warehousing and information management services.

They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery and competition soon followed.

Today MIP Australia continues to evolve, innovate and lead the way.  The fundamental ingredients of that long trek remain core to our DNA.
