The dashboard takes five key statistics into account when choosing the best players in Australia by position. Use filter to change position, and select to view the top 1, 2 or 3 players for example. Highlight the player to see if they match the other stats by clicking into the names. Finally, select your player to learn more about them after the analysis.
3. Deciding the charts to use
As I wanted to compare metrics, I decided to have key stats in the same row, and the give the option to highlight to get a quick overview to pick the best player.
As well, I decide to use a parameter to filter the top players, but it was a bit tricky. Let me explain you. Cause I’m using average, the top parameter doesn’t work as usual. Instead a created a calculation field with the function index() to be able to filter.
I first created the parameter, then the calculation, and finally I dragged the calculation into the filter and select true.
4.Put all chart together
In this case, using the filter actions correctly was crucial. You can do it quickly when you bring all the charts into the dashboard, but only one filter is needed. You can apply different sheets using that filter.
