Overview

Today marked the final day of Dashboard Week, and it truly felt like the toughest challenge yet. With only half a day to bring our dashboards to life. Timeboxing became our greatest tool, as we had to carefully manage each task. Every second counted, and there was absolutely no room for procrastination. We had to make decisions swiftly, stay focused, and execute our plans with precision. The intensity of the deadline pushed us to our limits, but it also brought out our determination to deliver high-quality work under pressure.

On Day 5 at The Data School Down Under, we focused on analyzing childcare prices at the county level in the United States. The dataset we worked with detailed childcare costs based on several factors, including the type of childcare provider, the age of the children, and specific county characteristics. Our challenge was to find a compelling story within the data and created our visualizations in Tableau.
