MIP has been appointed to the Digital Transformation Agency’s (DTA) Software and Cloud Marketplaces

MEDIA RELEASE

Sydney, Australia – 17 May2021

MIP Australia, the data company, is pleased to announce that it has been appointed to the Digital Transformation Agency’s (DTA) Software and Cloud Marketplaces.

The DTA established the Software Marketplace for government buyers looking to source software products and services.

Similarly, the Cloud Marketplace was established for government buyers looking to source cloud offerings, including both Cloud Services and Cloud Consulting.

All federal, state, territory and local government agencies can use these Marketplaces. This includes government universities and government-owned corporations.

The DTA’s aim is to make it easier for government buyers to do business with digital sellers. The marketplaces, panels, catalogues and agreements were created to do just that.

“We are excited about the opportunity these marketplaces offer Australian businesses like MIP” said Steve Hitchman, Group CEO and Founder of MIP Australia.  “Government agencies can now buy services and technology in a much more streamlined and cost effective way – that’s good for all Australians”.
